Effective Faith
To see examples of effective faith such as Noah he built the ark even though it had never rained before He had faith in God and he saved his family. By faith the Israelites past thought the red sea and by faith the walls of Jericho fell flat. We can learn by these stories that we should always have faith in God because he knows what we he is doing he always keeps us safe for example if you were on a road trip and you had stopped to use the restroom and you get back on the road and you see a that there was a wreck that could be you. God was keeping you save for having faith. We well be blest be for our belief in Him. Like this great country that we live in it was founded by godly men and we have been blessed with freedom of speech and freedom to worship our God.

Not to say, I hope, that if you have faith you will be kept from every painful thing that there is, you can hardly go by a week without hearing of someone going through many a tough thing mearly because of their faith. But when we DO go through those things we will have hope and more so then that, we will have a Savior to lean on, to cast our burdens onto (1 Peter 5:7). Think of Paul and Silas (Acts 16:16-35), they were put in crazy hard situations, worse then many of us can imagin, but they still had their joy, their hope, their faith, and their God, Who gave them all it. God will protect those who follow Him though, He may not protect us physicaly, but He won't let anything happen to our souls, if He has them in His hands, no one can snatch us from Him(John 10:29).
